Hadith 7424

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ : أَتَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ ، فَقَالَ : يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ، أَلَسْتَ تَزْعُمُ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ يَأْكُلُونَ وَيَشْرَبُونَ فِيهَا ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، إِنَّ أَحَدَهُمُ لَيُعْطَى قُوَّةَ مِئَةِ رَجُلٍ فِي الْمَطْعَمِ ، وَالْمَشْرَبِ ، وَالشَّهْوَةِ ، وَالْجِمَاعِ " ، فَقَالَ لَهُ الْيَهُودِيُّ : فَإِنَّ الَّذِي يَأْكُلُ وَيَشْرَبُ تَكُونُ لَهُ الْحَاجَةُ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " حَاجَتُهُمْ عَرَقٌ يَفِيضُ مِنْ جُلُودِهِمْ مِثْلُ الْمِسْكِ ، فَإِذَا الْبَطْنُ قَدْ ضَمُرَ " .
Sayyiduna Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A Jew came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Abul Qasim! Do you believe that the people of Paradise will eat and drink in Paradise? The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: By Him in Whose hand is my soul, every person of Paradise will be given the strength of a hundred men in eating, drinking, desire, and intercourse. The Jews said to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): Whoever eats and drinks also needs to relieve himself. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Their relieving will be in the form of sweat, which will come out of their bodies like musk (fragrant), and their stomachs will remain light as before.
