Ibn Hibban

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "You people will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection, then it will be said: Where are the poor and destitute people of the Ummah?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says, "Then those people will stand up, and it will be said to them: What deeds did you do?" They will say, "O our Lord, You put us to trial, so we acted with patience. You gave wealth and authority to others." Then Allah Almighty will say, "You have spoken the truth." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says, "Then those people will enter Paradise before the others, and the severity of reckoning will remain for the wealthy and the rulers." The people asked, "Where will the believers be on that day?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Chairs of light will be placed for them and clouds will shade them, and that day will be shorter for the people of faith than even an hour of a (worldly) day."
