Hadith 7411

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ فِيَ الْجَنَّةِ لَشَجَرَةً يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ فِي ظِلِّهَا مِئَةَ عَامٍ " ، قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : وَاقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ وَظِلٍّ مَمْدُودٍ .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In Paradise, there are trees so large that a rider can travel in their shade for one hundred years (yet its shade will not end)." Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If you wish, recite this verse: "And there are outspread shades."
