Hadith 7391

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ هَاجِكٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ أُمَّ حَارِثَةَ أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَدْ هَلَكَ حَارِثَةُ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ ، أَصَابَهُ سَهْمُ غَرْبٍ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَوْقِعَ حَارِثَةَ مِنْ قَلْبِي ، فَإِنْ كَانَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَمْ أَبْكِ عَلَيْهِ ، وَإِلا سَوْفَ تَرَى مَا أَصْنَعُ ، فَقَالَ لَهَا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَجَنَّةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ هِيَ ، إِنَّمَا هِيَ جِنَانٌ كَثِيرَةٌ ، وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْفِرْدَوْسِ الأَعْلَى " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyidah Umm Harithah (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyiduna Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) had passed away in the Battle of Badr. He was struck by an unknown arrow. This woman said: O Messenger of Allah! You are aware of the place Harithah held in my heart. If he is in Paradise, then I will not weep for him. Otherwise, you will see what I do. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to this woman: Is there only one level of Paradise? Paradise has many levels, and he is in the highest Firdaus.
