Hadith 7369

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ حُوسِبَ عُذِّبَ " ، قَالَتْ : فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ ، فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا ، قَالَ : " ذَاكَ الْعَرْضُ ، لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يُحَاسَبُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلا هَلَكَ " .
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever is taken to account will be punished. Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I said: O Messenger of Allah! (Allah the Exalted says:) "Whoever is given his record in his right hand, he will be given an easy reckoning." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This refers to presentation only; otherwise, whoever is taken to account on the Day of Resurrection will be doomed.
