Hadith 7361

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ كَانَتْ عِنْدَهُ مَظْلَمَةٌ لأَخِيهِ مِنْ عِرْضِهِ وَمَالِهِ ، فَلْيَسْتَحِلَّهُ الْيَوْمَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَهُ بِهِ حِينَ لا دِينَارَ وَلا دِرْهَمَ ، فَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُ عَمَلٌ صَالِحٌ ، أُخِذَ مِنْهُ بِقَدْرِ مَظْلَمَتِهِ ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ أُخِذَ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِ صَاحِبِهِ ، فَجُعِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever has wronged his brother with regard to his honor or wealth, let him seek his forgiveness today, before a day comes when there will be no dinar or dirham. If he has good deeds, they will be taken from him in proportion to his wrongdoing, and if he does not have good deeds, then the sins of his companion will be taken and placed upon him."
