Hadith 7359

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنِ الْعَلاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَتَدْرُونَ مَنِ الْمُفْلِسُ ؟ " ، قَالُوا : الْمُفْلِسُ فِينَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ لا دِرْهَمَ لَهُ ، وَلا مَتَاعَ لَهُ ، فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمُفْلِسُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِصَلاتِهِ وَصِيَامِهِ وَزَكَاتِهِ ، فَيَأْتِي وَقَدْ شَتَمَ هَذَا ، وَأَكَلَ مَالَ هَذَا ، وَسَفَكَ دَمَ هَذَا ، وَضَرَبَ هَذَا ، فَيَقْعُدُ ، فَيُعْطَى هَذَا مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ ، وَهَذَا مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ ، فَإِنْ فَنِيَتْ حَسَنَاتُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُعْطِيَ مَا عَلَيْهِ ، أُخِذَ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُمْ ، فَطُرِحَ عَلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ طُرِحَ فِي النَّارِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do you know who is the bankrupt? The people replied: O Messenger of Allah! Among us, the bankrupt is the one who has neither dirhams nor goods. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The bankrupt from my Ummah will be the one who will come on the Day of Resurrection with his prayers, fasts, and zakat. But he will have abused someone, usurped the wealth of someone, shed the blood of someone, or beaten someone. So that person will sit down, and his good deeds will be given to this person and to that person. If his good deeds run out before the account is settled, then the sins of those people will be taken and put upon him, and then he will be thrown into the Fire.
