Hadith 7339

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنَ أُمَيَّةَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " ثَلاثَةٌ أَنَا خَصْمُهُمْ فِي الْقِيَامَةِ ، وَمَنْ كُنْتُ خَصْمَهُ أَخْصِمْهُ : رَجُلٌ أَعْطَى بِي ثُمَّ غَدَرَ ، وَرَجُلٌ بَاعَ حُرًّا فَأَكَلَ ثَمَنَهُ ، وَرَجُلٌ اسْتَأْجَرَ أَجِيرًا فَاسْتَوْفَى مِنْهُ وَلَمْ يُوفِهِ أَجْرَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are three people against whom I will be an opponent on the Day of Resurrection, and whomever I oppose, I will surely defeat him: One who gives protection to someone in My Name and then breaks his word; one who sells a free person and consumes his price; and one who hires a laborer, takes full work from him, but does not pay him his due wages."
