Hadith 7327

أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ الآيَاتِ يَوْمًا عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ : وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ وَالأَرْضُ جَمِيعًا قَبْضَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالسَّمَوَاتُ مَطْوِيَّاتٌ بِيَمِينِهِ ، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ : هَكَذَا بِإِصْبَعِهِ يُحَرِّكُهَا ، يُمَجِّدُ الرَّبَّ جَلَّ وَعَلا نَفْسَهُ : " أَنَا الْجَبَّارُ ، أَنَا الْمُتَكَبِّرُ ، أَنَا الْمَلِكُ ، أَنَا الْعَزِيزُ ، أَنَا الْكَرِيمُ " ، فَرَجَفَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمِنْبَرُ ، حَتَّى قُلْنَا : لَيَخِرَّنَّ بِهِ .
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) recited this verse one day on the pulpit: "They did not appraise Allah with true appraisal as is His due, and the whole earth will be in His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be rolled up in His right hand." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: In this manner, he moved his finger, and the Lord, while declaring His own greatness, will say: "I am the Mighty, I am the Supreme, I am the King, I am the Dominant, I am the Honored." Until the pulpit began to shake beneath the Prophet (peace be upon him), so we thought that it might fall.
