Hadith 7326

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " جَاءَ حَبْرٌ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ عَلَى إِصْبَعٍ ، وَالأَرَضِينَ عَلَى إِصْبَعٍ ، وَالشَّجَرَ عَلَى إِصْبَعٍ ، وَالْخَلائِقَ كُلَّهَا عَلَى إِصْبَعٍ ، ثُمَّ يَهُزُّهُنَّ ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ : أَنَا الْمَلِكُ ، فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضَحِكَ حَتَّى بَدَتْ نَوَاجِذُهُ تَعَجُّبًا لَمَّا قَالَ الْيَهُودِيُّ تَصْدِيقًا لَهُ " ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ : وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ وَالأَرْضُ جَمِيعًا قَبْضَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A Jewish scholar came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He said: O Messenger of Allah! When the Day of Resurrection comes, Allah Almighty will place all the heavens on one of His fingers, and all the earths on one of His fingers, and the trees on one finger, and all the creatures on one finger, and then He will shake them and say: I am the King.
(The narrator says) I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) smiling, so much so that his side teeth became visible. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) smiled at the Jew’s statement, confirming his words, and then recited this verse: "They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal; all the earth will be in His grip on the Day of Resurrection."
