Hadith 7293

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرُ بْنُ كِدَامٍ ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنُ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا وَرَجُلانِ مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرٍ ، فَقَالَ : " مَنْ أَنْتُمْ ؟ " ، فَقُلْنَا : مِنْ بَنِي عَامِرٍ ، فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَرْحَبًا بِكُمْ أَنْتُمْ مِنِّي " .
Awn bin Abu Juhaifah narrates from his father: I presented myself before the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and with me were two individuals belonging to the tribe of Banu Amir. The Prophet (peace be upon him) inquired: Who are you? We replied: We belong to Banu Amir. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Welcome to you people! You are from me.
