Hadith 7285

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْمَقَابِرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَلا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ دُورِ الأَنْصَارِ ؟ " ، قَالُوا : بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " دَارُ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ ، ثُمَّ دَارُ بَنِي عَبْدِ الأَشْهَلِ ، ثُمَّ دَارُ بَنِي الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ ، ثُمَّ دَارُ بَنِي سَاعِدَةَ ، وَفِي كُلِّ دُورِ الأَنْصَارِ خَيْرٌ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Shall I not tell you about the best households among the Ansar?” The people said: “Yes, O Messenger of Allah!” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The household of Banu Najjar, then the household of Banu Abd al-Ashhal, then the household of Banu Harith bin Khazraj, then the household of Banu Sa’ida. In fact, there is goodness in every household of the Ansar.”
