Hadith 7284

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانِ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ دِيَارِ الأَنْصَارِ ؟ " ، قَالُوا : بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " دِيَارُ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ ، ثُمَّ دِيَارُ بَنِي عَبْدِ الأَشْهَلِ ، ثُمَّ دِيَارُ بَنِي الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ ، ثُمَّ دِيَارُ بَنِي سَاعِدَةَ ، ثُمَّ فِي كُلِّ دِيَارِ الأَنْصَارِ خَيْرٌ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you about the best households among the Ansar?" The people replied: "Yes, indeed." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The household of Banu Najjar, then the household of Banu Abd al-Ashhal, then the household of Banu Harith bin Khazraj, then the household of Banu Sa'idah. However, there is goodness in every household of the Ansar."
