Ibn Hibban

Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah folded the earth for me, so I saw its eastern and western parts. Soon, the rule of my Ummah will reach as far as the earth was folded for me, and two treasures were given to me: the red and the white. I asked my Lord for my Ummah that He would not destroy them through a general famine, and that He would not impose upon them an enemy from another nation who would annihilate them. So my Lord said: O Muhammad! When I make a decision, it is not changed. Regarding your Ummah, I grant you this: I will not destroy them through a general famine, and I will not impose upon them an enemy from another nation who would annihilate them, even if their enemies gather against them from all corners of the earth (the narrator is unsure about one word here). However, they themselves will destroy one another and will take each other captive."

The narrator states: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I fear misguided rulers for my Ummah. When the sword is placed among my Ummah, it will not be lifted until the Day of Resurrection, and the Hour will not be established until some tribes of my Ummah join the polytheists, to the extent that idols will be worshipped. There will be thirty great liars in my Ummah, each of whom will claim that he is a prophet, although I am the Seal of the Prophets; there will be no prophet after me. A group from my Ummah will always remain steadfast on the truth, and they will prevail. Whoever tries to disgrace them will not be able to harm them, until Allah's command (i.e., the Day of Resurrection) comes."
