Hadith 7230

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ دَرَّاجًا حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رُجُلا قَالَ لَهُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، طُوبَى لِمَنْ رَآكَ وَآمَنَ بِكَ ، قَالَ : " طُوبَى لِمَنْ رَآنِي وَآمَنَ بِي ، وَطُوبَى ، ثُمَّ طُوبَى لِمَنْ آمَنَ بِي وَلَمْ يَرَنِي " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man submitted to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah! Glad tidings for the person who visited you and believed in you." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Glad tidings for the person who visited me and believed in me, and glad tidings and even more glad tidings for the one who believed in me even though he did not see me.
