Hadith 7226

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الْعَيْشِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ سَلْمَانِ الأَغَرِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَثَلُ أُمَّتِي مَثَلُ الْمَطَرِ لا يُدْرَى أَوَّلُهُ خَيْرٌ أَوْ آخِرُهُ " .
Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The example of my Ummah is like that of rain; it cannot be determined whether its first part is better or its last part is better."
