أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ التِّرْمِذِيُّ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بُرَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَوْرَاءِ السَّعْدِيِّ ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ حَدِّثْنِي بِشَيْءٍ حَفِظْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، لَمْ يُحَدِّثْكَ بِهِ أَحَدٌ ، قَالَ: ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ: " دَعْ مَا يُرِيبُكَ إِلَى مَا لا يُرِيبُكَ " ، قَالَ: " الْخَيْرُ طُمَأْنِينَةٌ وَالشَّرُّ رِيبَةٌ " . وَأُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ ، فَأَخَذْتُ تَمْرَةً فَأَلْقَيْتُهَا فِي فِي ، فَأَخَذَهَا بِلُعَابِهَا حَتَّى أَعَادَهَا فِي التَّمْرِ ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا كَانَ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ هَذِهِ التَّمْرَةِ مِنْ هَذَا الصَّبِيِّ؟ فقَالَ: " إِنَّا آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ لا يَحِلُّ لَنَا الصَّدَقَةُ " . وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُو بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ: " اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنَا فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ ، وَعَافِنَا فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ ، وَتَوَلَّنَا فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ ، وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ ، وَقِنَا شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ ، إِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلا يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ ، إِنَّهُ لا يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ ، تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ " .
Abu Hurairah Sa'di narrates: I said to Sayyiduna Imam Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him): Tell me a hadith which you have heard directly from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and memorized, which no one else has narrated to you. So Sayyiduna Imam Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Leave that which puts you in doubt and go towards that which does not put you in doubt." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: "Goodness is tranquility and evil is doubt." (Sayyiduna Imam Hasan, may Allah be pleased with him, also said) Once some dates of charity were presented to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). I took one of those dates and put it in my mouth. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) took that date, took its saliva, and put it back in the date. It was said to him: O Messenger of Allah! There is no harm to you regarding the date this child took. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Charity is not lawful for us, the family of Muhammad. (Sayyiduna Imam Hasan, may Allah be pleased with him, also said) I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicating: "O Allah! Keep us steadfast on guidance among those whom You have guided! Grant us well-being among those whom You have granted well-being! Be our guardian among those whom You have taken as guardians! Bless for us what You have given us, and protect us from the evil of what You have decreed. Surely, You decree and none can decree against You. Whomever You take as a guardian cannot be disgraced. You are Blessed and Exalted."
