Hadith 7216

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قَوْلِهِ : وَكَذَلِكَ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ أُمَّةً وَسَطًا ، قَالَ : " عَدْلا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the statement of Allah Almighty (the statement of the Exalted Lord is:): "Thus We have made you a justly balanced nation." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (By "balanced" it means) being just.
