Hadith 7189

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates regarding Sayyida Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her): She reported that once the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us and took a nap at our place. When he woke up, he was smiling. Sayyida Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) says, I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! May my parents be sacrificed for you, what makes you smile?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "I saw some people from my Ummah riding on the sea just as kings sit on their thrones." Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) slept again, and when he woke up, he was smiling. Sayyida Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) says, I asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) the same question again, and he gave me a similar answer. I said, "Pray to Allah that He includes me among them." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You will be among the first ones."

(The narrator states:) Then Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) married this woman. Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) and that woman set out on a sea journey. When they returned from the sea journey, a mule was brought before the woman so that she could mount it, but she fell from it, her neck bone broke, and she passed away.
