Hadith 7178

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَنَسٌ خَادِمُكَ ، ادْعُ اللَّهَ لَهُ ، قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ ، وَبَارِكْ لَهُ فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) submitted to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Anas is your servant, so please supplicate to Allah for him." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) supplicated: "O Allah! Increase his wealth and his children, and bless him in what You have given him."
