Hadith 7149

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي خُزَيْمَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتِ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الَّذِي جَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَهَادَتَهُ بِشَهَادَةِ رَجُلَيْنِ ، أَنَّ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ أُرِيَ فِي النَّوْمِ أَنَّهُ سَجَدَ عَلَى جَبْهَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَتَى خُزَيْمَةَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَحَدَّثَهُ ، قَالَ : فَاضْطَجَعَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " صَدِّقْ رُؤْيَاكَ " ، فَسَجَدَ عَلَى جَبْهَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Sayyiduna Khuzaimah bin Thabit Al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), whose testimony the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) considered equal to the testimony of two men, narrates: He saw in a dream that he was prostrating on the blessed forehead of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyiduna Khuzaimah (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and related this to him. The narrator says: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) lay down for him, then said: "Fulfill your dream." So Sayyiduna Khuzaimah (may Allah be pleased with him) prostrated on the forehead of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
