أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ ابْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلامَ " ، فَقُلْتُ : وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ ، تَرَى مَا لا نَرَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ .
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: This is Jibreel conveying greetings to you. I said: Peace be upon him, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), you see what we do not see.
