Hadith 7096

أَخْبَرَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارِ بْنِ الرَّيَّانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ الْمَاجِشُونِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَنْ أَزْوَاجُكَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ؟ قَالَ : " أَمَا إِنَّكِ مِنْهُنَّ " ، قَالَتْ : فَخُيِّلَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّ ذَاكَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَتَزَوَّجْ بِكْرًا غَيْرِي .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that she asked: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), which of your wives will be in Paradise? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: As for you, you are among them (who will be in Paradise).
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I knew that it was for this reason that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not marry any other virgin woman besides me.
