Hadith 7056

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الدُّولابِيُّ ، مُنْذُ ثَمَانِينَ سَنَةً ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ ذَرِيحٍ ، عَنِ الْبَهِيِّ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : عَثَرَ أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ بِعَتَبَةِ الْبَابِ فَشُجَّ وَجْهُهُ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِعَائِشَةَ : " أَمِيطِي عَنْهُ الأَذَى ، فَقَذَّرَتْهُ ، قَالَتْ : فَجَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمُجُّهَا ، وَيَقُولُ : لَوْ كَانَ أُسَامَةُ جَارِيَةً لَحَلَّيْتُهُ وَكَسَوْتُهُ حَتَّى أُنَفِّقَهُ " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) bumped into the door frame, which caused his face to be injured. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said to Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): Clean the blood from him, so I felt uneasy about it. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) embraced him and said: If Usama were a girl, I would adorn her with jewelry, dress her in clothes, and spend money on her.
