Hadith 7033

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ بِدِمَشْقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْوَهْبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، وَيَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِسَعْدٍ : " هَذَا الرَّجُلُ الصَّالِحُ الَّذِي فُتِحَتْ لَهُ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ شُدِّدَ عَلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ فُرِّجَ عَنْهُ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said about Sayyiduna Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him): "He is that righteous person for whom the gates of the heavens were opened. He was subjected to constriction (in the grave), but then relief was granted to him."
