Hadith 7030

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ أُسَيْدَ بْنَ حُضَيْرٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " اهْتَزَّ الْعَرْشُ لِوَفَاةِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ " .
Muhammad bin Amr, from his father, from his grandfather, narrates the statement of Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): I heard Sayyiduna Usayd bin Hudayr (may Allah be pleased with him) saying—he said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "At the death of Sa’d bin Mu’adh, the Throne shook."
