أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي فُرَاتٍ ، عَنْ عِلْبَاءَ بْنِ أَحْمَرَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : خَطَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الأَرْضِ خُطُوطًا أَرْبَعَةً ، قَالَ : أَتَدْرُونَ مَا هَذَا ؟ قَالُوا : اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَفْضَلُ نِسَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ : خَدِيجَةُ بِنْتِ خُوَيْلِدٍ ، وَفَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَمَرْيَمُ بِنْتُ عِمْرَانَ ، وَآسِيَةُ بِنْتُ مُزَاحِمٍ امْرَأَةُ فِرْعَوْنَ " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : مَاتَتْ خَدِيجَةُ بِمَكَّةَ قَبْلَ هِجْرَةِ الْمُصْطَفَى صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ بِثَلاثِ سِنِينَ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Once the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) drew four lines on the ground in front of us. He asked: Do you know what this is? The people replied: Allah and His Messenger know best. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The best women of Paradise are Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad, Maryam bint Imran, and Asiyah bint Muzahim, who was the wife of Pharaoh.
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) Sayyidah Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) passed away in Makkah three years before the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) migrated to Madinah.
