Hadith 699

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ ، بِبُسْتَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَحْسَابُ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا الْمَالُ " .
Abdullah bin Buraidah narrates from his father Sayyiduna Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "According to the people of the world, the standard of nobility is wealth."
