Hadith 6987

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، قال : " رَأَيْتُ عَنَ يَمِينِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ رَجُلَيْنِ عَلَيْهِمَا ثِيَابٌ بِيضٌ ، مَا رَأَيْتُهُمَا قَبْلُ وَلا بَعْدُ يَعْنِي جِبْرِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ " .
Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the day of the Battle of Uhud, I saw two men on the right and left of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who were wearing white clothes. I had never seen them before nor after that. (The narrator says:) They were Jibreel (Gabriel) (peace be upon him) and Sayyiduna Mika’eel (Michael) (peace be upon him).
