Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in one of the markets of Madinah Munawwarah. The Prophet (peace be upon him) turned to one side, and I also turned with him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Call Hasan to me. So Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) came walking, and there was a necklace around his neck. The Prophet (peace be upon him) gestured with his blessed hand in this way, and Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) also gestured with his hand in the same way. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) took hold of him and said: O Allah! I love him, so You also love him, and love the one who loves him.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: To me, after the statement of the Prophet (peace be upon him) which he made, there is no one more beloved than Sayyiduna Imam Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) Abdullah bin Muhammad narrated these words to us with the letters “sh” and “h”, although the original word is “sakhab”, that is, with “d” and “kh”.
