أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ ابْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي نُعْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، إِِلا ابْنَيِ الْخَالَةِ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ ، وَيَحْيَى بْنَ زَكَرِيَّا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Hasan and Husayn are the leaders of the youth of Paradise, except for two maternal cousins, 'Isa ibn Maryam and Yahya ibn Zakariya (whose case is different)."
