Hadith 692

أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " قُمْتُ عَلَى بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ ، فَإِذَا عَامَّةُ مَنْ دَخَلَهَا الْمَسَاكِينُ ، وَإِذَا أَصْحَابُ الْجَدِّ مَحْبُوسُونَ ، وَأَصْحَابُ النَّارِ قَدْ أُمِرَ بِهِمْ إِلَى النَّارِ ، وَنَظَرْتُ إِلَى النَّارِ ، فَإِذَا عَامَّةُ مَنْ دَخَلَهَا النِّسَاءُ " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : قَرَنَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بِأُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، سَعِيدَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ فِي هَذَا الْخَبَرِ الْمُعْتَمِرُ : مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ .
Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I stood at the gate of Paradise and saw that most of those who entered it were poor people, while the wealthy were held back. And when the people of Hell were ordered to enter Hell and I looked at Hell, I saw that most of those who entered it were women." Imam Ibn Hibban (may Allah have mercy on him) says: The narrator named Imran bin Musa has combined Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them both) with Sayyiduna Sa'id bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) in this narration.
