Hadith 6910

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا إِِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّامِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي حَائِطٍ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ ، فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَاسْتَفْتَحَ ، فَقَالَ : " افْتَحْ لَهُ وَبَشِّرْهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ " ، فَإِِذَا هُوَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ آخَرُ فَاسْتَفْتَحَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " افْتَحْ لَهُ وَبَشِّرْهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ " ، فَإِِذَا هُوَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ آخَرُ فَاسْتَفْتَحَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " افْتَحْ لَهُ وَبَشِّرْهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ " ، فَإِِذَا هُوَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ .
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was present in a garden and I was with him. During this time, a man came and asked for the door to be opened. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Open the door for him and give him the glad tidings of Paradise. He was Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him). Then another man came and asked for the door to be opened. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Open the door for him and give him the glad tidings of Paradise. He was Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). Then another man came and asked for the door to be opened. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Open the door for him and give him the glad tidings of Paradise. He was Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him).
