Hadith 6866

أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَن رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَنْفَقَ زَوْجَيْنِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، نُودِيَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ : يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ ، هَذَا خَيْرٌ ، فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصَّلاةِ ، دُعِيَ مِنْ بَابِ الصَّلاةِ ، وَمَنَ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجِهَادِ ، دُعِيَ مِنْ بَابِ الْجِهَادِ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصَّدَقَةِ ، دُعِيَ مِنْ بَابِ الصَّدَقَةِ ، وَمَنَ كَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الصِّيَامِ ، دُعِيَ مِنْ بَابِ الرَّيَّانِ " ، فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي ، " هَلْ يُدْعَى أَحَدٌ مِنْ تِلْكَ الأَبْوَابِ كُلِّهَا ؟ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : نَعَمْ ، وَأَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنْهُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever spends a pair (of anything) in the way of Allah, it will be announced in Paradise: O servant of Allah! This is better. Those who are among the people of prayer will be called from the special gate of prayer. Those who are among the people of jihad will be called from the gate of jihad. Those who are among the people of charity will be called from the gate of charity. Those who are among the people of fasting will be called from the gate of Rayyan." Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Messenger of Allah! May my parents be sacrificed for you, will there be anyone who will be called from all these gates?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, and I hope that you will be among them."
