Hadith 6865

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَعِدَ أُحُدًا ، فَتَبِعَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ ، فَرَجَفَ بِهِمْ ، فَضَرَبَهُ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِرِجْلِهِ ، وَقَالَ : " اثْبُتْ أُحُدُ ، فَمَا عَلَيْكَ إِِلا نَبِيٌّ وَصِدِّيقٌ وَشَهِيدَانِ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) climbed Mount Uhud, and with him climbed Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Sayyiduna Umar, and Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them). Then it began to shake, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) struck it with his foot and said: "Uhud, remain still! Upon you are a Prophet, a Siddiq, and two martyrs."
