أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْغَفَّارِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ طَارِقٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تُبْعَثَ رِيحٌ حَمْرَاءُ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْيَمَنِ ، فَيَكْفِتُ اللَّهُ بِهَا كُلَّ نَفْسٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ ، وَمَا يُنْكِرُهَا النَّاسُ مِنْ قِلَّةِ مَنْ يَمُوتُ فِيهَا : مَاتَ شَيْخٌ فِي بَنِي فُلانٍ ، وَمَاتَتْ عَجُوزٌ فِي بَنِي فُلانٍ ، وَيُسَرَى عَلَى كِتَابِ اللَّهِ ، فَيُرْفَعُ إِِلَى السَّمَاءِ ، فَلا يَبْقَى فِي الأَرْضِ مِنْهُ آيَةٌ ، وَتَقِيءُ الأَرْضُ أَفْلاذَ كَبِدِهَا مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ ، وَلا يَنْتَفِعُ بِهَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ ، يَمُرُّ بِهَا الرَّجُلُ فَيَضْرِبُهَا بِرِجْلِهِ ، وَيَقُولُ : فِي هَذِهِ كَانَ يَقْتَتِلُ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَنَا ، وَأَصْبَحَتِ الْيَوْمَ لا يُنْتَفَعُ بِهَا " ، قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : وَإِِنَّ أَوَّلَ قَبَائِلِ الْعَرَبِ فَنَاءً قُرَيْشٌ ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، أَوْشَكَ أَنْ يَمُرَّ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى النَّعْلِ وَهِيَ مُلْقَاةٌ فِي الْكُنَاسَةِ فَيَأْخُذُهَا بِيَدِهِ ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ : كَانَتْ هَذِهِ مِنْ نِعَالِ قُرَيْشٍ فِي النَّاسِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The Hour will not be established until a red wind blows from Yemen, and through this wind Allah, the Exalted, will seize the soul of every person who believes in Allah and the Last Day. Due to the small number of people dying in it, people will not consider it strange (and will say), 'The old man of such-and-such tribe died in it, and the old woman of such-and-such tribe died in it.' The Book of Allah will be separated and raised up towards the sky; not a single verse of it will remain on the earth. The earth will vomit out its treasures, that is, gold and silver, but after that day, no one will be able to benefit from them. A person will pass by them, strike them with his foot, and say: 'Did the people before us use to fight each other because of these? Today, it is such that no benefit can be taken from them.'"
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "Among the Arab tribes, the first to perish will be the Quraysh. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, soon a time will come when a person will pass by a shoe lying on a garbage heap, he will pick it up with his hand and then say, 'Shoes like this used to belong to the Quraysh.'"
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "Among the Arab tribes, the first to perish will be the Quraysh.
