Hadith 6845

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُشْكَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْرَجُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَتَقُومَنَّ السَّاعَةُ وَثَوْبُهُمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لا يَطْوِيَانِهِ وَلا يَتَبَايَعَانِهِ ، وَلَتَقُومَنَّ السَّاعَةُ وَقَدِ انْصَرَفَ بِلَبَنِ لِقْحَتِهِ لا يَطْعَمُهُ ، وَلَتَقُومَنَّ السَّاعَةُ وَهُوَ يَلُوطُ حَوْضَهُ لا يَسْقِيهِ ، وَلَتَقُومَنَّ السَّاعَةُ وَرَفَعَ لُقْمَتَهُ إِِلَى فِيهِ لا يَطْعَمُهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Hour will certainly be established while (two men’s) cloth is between them, but they will neither be able to wrap it nor finalize its sale. The Hour will certainly be established while a man is returning with his she-camel’s milk, but he will not be able to drink it. The Hour will certainly be established while a person is repairing his pond, but he will not be able to drink from it. The Hour will certainly be established while a man raises a morsel to his mouth, but he will not be able to eat it."
