Hadith 6816

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَنْقَزِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَن رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَيَنْزِلَنَّ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ حَكَمًا عَادِلا ، فَيَكْسِرُ الصَّلِيبَ ، وَيَقْتُلُ الْخِنْزِيرَ ، وَلَيَضَعَنَّ الْجِزْيَةَ ، وَلَتُتْرَكَنَّ الْقِلاصُ فَلا يُسْعَى عَلَيْهَا ، وَلَتَذْهَبَنَّ الشَّحْنَاءُ وَالتَّبَاغُضُ وَالتَّحَاسُدُ ، وَلَيَدْعُوَنَّ إِِلَى الْمَالِ فَلا يَقْبَلُهُ أَحَدٌ " .
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus, son of Mary) will descend as a just and fair ruler. He will break the cross, kill the swine, abolish the jizya (tax), and camels will be left (no effort will be made to collect their zakat). Mutual hatred, malice, and envy will disappear. He will invite people to wealth, but no one will accept it."
