Hadith 6814

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ آدَمَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَن رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الأَنْبِيَاءُ إِِخْوَةٌ لِعَلاتٍ ، وَأُمَّهَاتُهُمْ شَتَّى ، وَأَنَا أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ ، وَإِِنَّهُ نَازِلٌ فَاعْرِفُوهُ ، فَإِِنَّهُ رَجُلٌ يَنْزِعُ إِِلَى الْحُمْرَةِ وَالْبَيَاضِ ، كَأَنَّ رَأْسَهُ يَقْطُرُ وَإِِنْ لَمْ يُصِبْهُ بِلَّةٌ ، وَإِِنَّهُ يَدُقُّ الصَّلِيبَ ، وَيَقْتُلُ الْخِنْزِيرَ ، وَيُفِيضُ الْمَالَ ، وَيَضَعُ الْجِزْيَةَ ، وَإِِنَّ اللَّهَ يَهْلِكُ فِي زَمَانِهِ الْمِلَلَ كُلَّهَا غَيْرَ الإِِسْلامِ ، وَيَهْلِكُ اللَّهُ الْمَسِيحَ الضَّالَّ الأَعْوَرَ الْكَذَّابَ ، وَيُلْقِي اللَّهُ الأَمَنَةَ حَتَّى يَرْعَى الأَسَدُ مَعَ الإِِبِلِ ، وَالنَّمِرُ مَعَ الْبَقَرِ ، وَالذِّئَابُ مَعَ الْغَنَمِ ، وَيَلْعَبُ الصِّبْيَانُ مَعَ الْحَيَّاتِ ، لا يَضُرُّ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The Prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, and among all people, I am the closest to ‘Isa ibn Maryam. When he descends, you will recognize him: he will be a man whose complexion is reddish-white, and it will appear as if drops of water are falling from his head, although his head will not be wet. He will break the cross, kill the swine, make wealth abundant, and abolish the jizya. Allah, the Exalted, will abolish every religion except Islam during his time, and Allah will destroy the misguided, one-eyed, lying Dajjal as well. Then Allah will instill peace and tranquility, so much so that the lion will graze with the camel, the leopard with the cow, and the wolf with the sheep; children will play with snakes, and none of them will harm another."
