أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : لا أَزَالُ أُحِبُّ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ بَعْدَ ثَلاثٍ سَمِعْتُهُنَّ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : قَدِمَ مِنْهُمْ سَبْيٌ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَكَانَ عَلَى بَعْضِهِمْ رَقَبَةٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِِسْمَاعِيلَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَعْتِقْهَا ، فَإِِنَّهَا مِنْ وَلَدِ إِِسْمَاعِيلَ " ، وَجَاءَتْهُ صَدَقَاتُ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَذِهِ صَدَقَاتُ قَوْمِنَا " ، وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : " هُمْ أَشَدُّ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الدَّجَّالِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Ever since I heard three things from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), I have always loved Banu Tamim. Once, some of their people were brought as captives to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Among them was a captive who belonged to the descendants of Isma'il. So the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Set free the one who is from the descendants of Sayyiduna Isma'il (peace be upon him)." Then, once the charity from Banu Tamim came, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "These are the charities of our people." And I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Among my Ummah, these people will be the most severe against the Dajjal."
