أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْكَبِيرِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْخَطَّابِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْمَدِينَةُ يَأْتِيهَا الدَّجَّالُ ، فَيَجِدُ الْمَلائِكَةَ يَحْرُسُونَهَا ، فَلا يَدْخُلُهَا الدَّجَّالُ وَلا الطَّاعُونُ ، إِِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "When Dajjal comes near Madinah, he will find angels: they will be guarding it, so Dajjal will not be able to enter Madinah, nor will the plague be able to enter it, if Allah wills."
