Hadith 6781

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بِسْطَامٍ بِالْبَصْرَةِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الأَهْوَازِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِِنَّهُ لَمْ يَكُنْ نَبِيٌّ إِِلا حَذَّرَ أُمَّتَهُ الدَّجَّالَ ، وَإِِنِّي أُنْذِرُكُمُوهُ ، وَإِِنَّهُ كَائِنٌ فِيكُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: No one asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as many questions about the Dajjal as I did. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He will not harm you. I said: O Messenger of Allah, people say that he will have rivers and food with him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Despite all that, he will be the most insignificant in the sight of Allah Almighty.
