أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلابَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَتَبَاهَى النَّاسُ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In the last era, there will be some people who will engage in worldly conversation in the mosques; they will have no connection with Allah Almighty."
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The narrator named Abu Taqi is Abu Taqi Kabir, whose name is Abdul Hameed bin Ibrahim; he is from Homs. Whereas Abu Taqi Saghir's name is Hisham bin Abdul Malik Yazni, and both these narrators are from Homs. Both are trustworthy.
