أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُسْلِمُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنْ أبيه ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِِنَّ نَاسًا مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَنْزِلُونَ بِحَائِطٍ يُسَمُّونَهُ الْبَصْرَةَ ، عِنْدَهَا نَهْرٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ دِجْلَةُ ، يَكُونُ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا جِسْرٌ ، وَيَكْثُرُ أَهْلُهَا ، وَيَكُونُ مِنْ أَمْصَارِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ ، فَإِِذَا كَانَ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ جَاءَ بَنُو قَنْطُورَاءَ ، أَقْوَامٌ عِرَاضُ الْوجُوهِ ، حَتَّى يَنْزِلُوا عَلَى شَاطِئِ النَّهْرِ ، فَيَفْتَرِقُ أَهْلُهَا عَلَى ثَلاثِ فِرَقٍ ، فَأَمَّا فِرْقَةٌ فَتَأْخُذُ أَذْنَابَ الإِِبِلِ وَالْبَرِّيَّةِ فَيَهْلِكُونَ ، وَأَمَّا فِرْقَةٌ فَيَأْخُذُونَ لأَنْفُسِهِمْ وَيَكْفُرُونَ ، وَأَمَّا فِرْقَةٌ فَيَجْعَلُونَ ذَرَارِيَّهُمْ خَلْفَ ظُهُورِهِمْ ، وَيُقَاتِلُونَهُمْ وَهُمُ الشُّهَدَاءُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established until the women of the tribe of Daws move their buttocks around Dhu al-Khalasah." (The narrator says:) This was an idol in the time of ignorance which the people of the tribe of Daws used to worship; this idol was at the place of Tabalah. The narrator named Mu'ammar says: Now a building has been constructed at that place which is closed.
