Hadith 6738

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ هِلالٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِِنَّ بَعْدِي مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَوْ سَيَكُونُ بَعْدِي مِنْ أُمَّتِي قَوْمٌ يَقْرَءُونَ الْقُرْآنَ لا يُجَاوِزُ حَلاقِمَهُمْ ، يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الدِّينِ كَمَا يَخْرُجُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ ، ثُمَّ لا يَعُودُونَ فِيهِ ، هُمْ شَرُّ الْخَلْقِ وَالْخَلِيقَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says: If I narrate to you any hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), then for me, falling down from the sky is more beloved than attributing any false statement to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). And when I speak to you about anything between myself and you, then war is the name of deception. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "In the last era, some people will come whose ages will be young and whose intellects will be immature. They will narrate the sayings of the best person among the creation, but they will exit from the religion just as an arrow passes through its target. Their faith will not go beyond their throats. Wherever you encounter them, kill them, for the one who kills them will have a reward on the Day of Resurrection."
