Hadith 6724

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْيَشْكُرِيُّ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيَّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ : قَال رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا يَزَالُ أَمْرُ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ مُوَائِمًا أَوْ مُقَارِبًا مَا لَمْ يَتَكَلَّمُوا فِي الْوِلْدَانِ وَالْقَدَرِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : الْوِلْدَانُ أَرَادَ بِهِ أَطْفَالَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to us while we were reciting (the Qur’an). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: All praise and thanks are due to Allah alone. The Book of Allah is one. Among you are red, white, and black people. You should continue to recite it before there come people who will recite it and assign to it a price as is assigned to a portion.
