Hadith 671

أَخْبَرَنَا مَكْحُولٌ ، بِبَيْرُوتَ ، وَابْنُ سَلْمٍ ، وَابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَانِئِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَصْبَحَ مُعَافًى فِي بَدَنِهِ ، آمِنًا فِي سِرْبِهِ عِنْدَهُ قُوتُ يَوْمِهِ ، فَكَأَنَّمَا حِيزَتْ لَهُ الدُّنْيَا " .
Sayyida Umm Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever wakes up in the morning in a state of well-being in his body, safe in his dwelling, and possessing the food for that day, it is as if the world has been gathered for him.”
