Hadith 6680

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُشْكَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْرَجُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَكْثُرَ فِيكُمُ الأَمْوَالُ وَتَفِيضَ ، حَتَّى يُهِمَّ رَبَّ الْمَالِ مَنْ يَقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَدَقَتَهُ ، وَحَتَّى يَعْرِضَهُ ، وَيَقُولُ الَّذِي يُعْرَضُ عَلَيْهِ : لا أَرَبَ لِي فِيهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Hour will not be established until wealth becomes abundant and increases, to the extent that a person will take out the zakat of his wealth but will not find anyone who will accept it from him."
