Hadith 6635

أَخْبَرَنَا السِّخْتِيَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أُلْحِدَ وَنُصِبَ عَلَيْهِ اللَّبِنُ نَصَبًا ، وَرُفِعَ قَبْرُهُ مِنَ الأَرْضِ نَحْوًا مِنْ شِبْرٍ " .
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood among us, and during this standing, he did not leave out anything that would happen until the Day of Resurrection; he spoke about everything. Whoever was to remember it, remembered it, and whoever was to forget it, forgot it. My companions also know this matter; among them, there will be someone who has forgotten something, but when I see it, I remember it, just as a person remembers the face of someone who is absent, but when he sees him, he recognizes him.
