Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was wrapped in a Yemeni mantle which belonged to Abdullah bin Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), then it was removed from his body and the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was shrouded in three Yemeni Sahuli garments, which did not include a turban or a shirt. Abdullah had taken off that mantle. He said: Shroud me in this mantle. Then later he said: How can I be shrouded in a garment in which the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was not shrouded? So he gave that garment in charity.
